7th Month

Hungry Ghost festival is here at last! (Or rather has been here for some time already) Today was an especially special day as my grandma, being a Buddhist, decided to do offerings to my great-great-great ancestors and to those "gods" of you know where. =( I sometimes wish that she was a christian like the rest of the family & i've tried talking to her about Christianity before but she's stubborn. Oh well.. Anyway, I revelled in the celebration despite exams starting just tomorrow. Its GP & Physics together. whew... Long long day. Hope that i'll be my crazy self, get influenced by Victor's radical views and present some wacky view on how the world should be run. =p Its always an enjoyable read and write when i'm able to do that. Sadly, those moments don't come often.
Ok, for those of you concerned for my studies (because you're such good friends of mine!) I'd like to say..... Please worry!! =( Its not been that good, unfortunately. Oh well.. Its like.. study study study...play play play... Bah... i seem to get saturated too fas nowadays. I guess that teaches that last-minute studying doesn't help very much in JC. =( I think it as a pay-off system. For consistent workers, results should be fairly consistently high. But the downside is "nerdifying" your entire JC life. (That's apart from the potential side-effect of going nuts. *and i'm not talking peanuts*) Then there's a 2nd type of working technique called "cramming". Studying only starts 2-3 weeks before exams and the individual goes nuts during this period. Results during exams won't be as good as consistent workers *duh* but it should still be fairly ok, plus the up-side of being able to slack more during the entire year. =) However, as i said, i think the "fairly good" results these people aka me, used to get is fast becoming "fairly grotesque" results... sigh.. JC is a fast tack alright. For worker bees, a fast track to scholarships. For slackers, a fast track to NS. I believe that most of us fall within the ranges of these two extremes though. ha! So no worries that you'll end up like me. As i said, i'm an extremist. *winks*
Ok, i better get off the com now. It seems that with the added burden of studies, i tend to get wonky doing computer stuff. =( *sad* Oh well.. take care people! *Off to play Name of Life*
